Ce qui surprend avant tout, c'est le poids. Il est lourd, lourd, lourd. Le viseur est très lumineux et grand, il dispose d'un cadre collimaté, l'image du télémètre est claire. Le tout est de très bonne qualité, comme toujours chez Walz.
Il existe plusieurs versions avec des objectifs différents : Walzer 3,5/45, Walzer 2,8/45, S-Kominar 1,9/45.
